Kumily, our hometown is surrounded by the Periyar Tiger Reserve and Thekkady; the artificial lake built by the British in 1890. Idukki Dam, the second biggest arch-dam in Asia and the spectacular Vagamon hills icing on the cake. Munnar and Peermade are famous for their foggy mornings and warm days owing to the cool and serene climate.
